Happy Birthday Silas!

Silas turned 2 on October 30th, 2009. What a boy and boy oh boy does he love love cars.

What a great October it has been. So much is going on and time is flying. We are enjoying the kids while watching them grow.

Hot, hot, hot!

Well, it is July in Bakersfield and today it reached 106 degrees. It's just HOT! These are some pictures of the kids having fun out in the back yard playing in the swimming pool.

New Home!!!!

This is the family room of our new house.

Our new Home. Thank God! Danae can finally walk around the neighborhood. I took these after the kids were in bed, so no pictures of bedrooms. This is our living room, family room and kitchen. We need curtains in the family room.

Solomon Isaac Doyle. Born March 1, 2009.

Lord, call him. Draw him. Keep him. We give back to you what has so graciously been given to us. He has always been yours and we ask that you would lead us as we raise your child. Keep him humble. Let peace be his covering and joy be his strength. We ask that you would give him wisdom, but that you would show him that apart from your Spirit, even mans greatest wisdom will fail. Thank you for our precious children. We honor you with our lives and ask you to glorify yourself through us. In the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen.

Note to family:

Solomons middle name, Isaac, is after my late grandfather, Isaac Cripps. One of the greatest (most humble) men I have ever known. He has gone on to be with our Savior and he is dearly missed. I named my last son Isaac in hope that he would know the grace of God in his life and be an instrument to proclaim it, as was my grandfather! Papa, it won't be long! I'll meet you at the river.

Visit with Great Grandparents

This is February 15th. What a great day with Grandpa-pa and Grandma-ma (as Brooklynn affectionately calls them) in Grover Beach, CA! It was cold and rainy, but much fun was had by all.
